Description
An unpublished plate intended for Sorli’s Atlas Anatomico. Sorli, both a painter and an anatomist, envisioned the book to be the most authoritative source of anatomical prints of the 17th century. This plate depicts three different views of an adult man’s muscular and bone structures with measurements and proportions outlined. A child’s skeleton is also shown with its measurements and proportions.
