PubMed is a free, public citation and absract database from the National Institute of Health and the National Library of Medicine. "PubMed comprises more than 30 million citations for biomedical literature from MEDLINE, life science journals, and online books. Citations may include links to full-text content from PubMed Central and publisher web sites."
Accessing PubMed through the links in this guide or from our Databases page will automatically connect PubMed to our library, allowing you to check if we have full text access to articles. When you open the abstract page of an article, you will see the USAHS Full Text Access button in the top right. Clicking on that will either take you to the full text of the article or a link to a form where you can request the article through interlibrary loan. Watch the video tutorials on this page for further information on accessing full text articles through PubMed.
