The Student Journal of Occupational Therapy, led by USAHS students and alumni and published by the USAHS library, is currently seeking volunteer student peer reviewers.
SJOT offers opportunities for student peer reviewers, editors, and student authors to participate in the double-blind review and publication of high-quality student work in an online, open access journal. Participation in a peer-reviewed journal publication is a great professional resume builder. If you are interested in participating as peer reviewer, please contact us at SJOT@usa.edu.
Training is available on Blackboard. The following steps are:
Step 1: Complete the application of interest form.
Step 2: Complete the 3-part Peer Reviewer training
Step 3: Meet with an editorial advisor to co-review a practice journal article.
Step 4: Download your certificate of completion and become eligible to review an official SJOT manuscript submission with guidance from faculty mentors and editorial advisors.
More information about the journal and its policies can be seen on at https://soar.usa.edu/sjot. We welcome any questions regarding the journal, article submissions, and/or peer reviewer positions. Please direct all questions and applications to SJOT@usa.edu.
