The Summer 2021 issue of the Student Journal of Occupational Therapy (SJOT) is now freely available online. SJOT is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal publishing research by students of occupational therapy and related fields. SJOT is managed and edited by students of the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences Occupational Therapy Program and published by the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences Library. You can read this latest issue in the University’s Scholarship and Open Access Repository (SOAR@USA).

In this new issue, we can find excellent scholarly works of occupational therapy students such as,

  • "Life Skill Development and its Impact on Perceived Stress, Employment and Education Pursuits: A Study of Young Adults with a History of Homelessness and Trauma" by Josephine Beker and Tina M. DeAngelis
  • "Application of the Kinesio® Taping Method for a Child with Hypotonia: A Pilot Case Study" by Margaret M. Griffin, Christina Ann A. McGuff, Nicole C. Willse, MacKenzie D. Twaddell, and Julia Shin.

The issue was edited by Senior Editors, Natasha Menard and Samantha Low, as well as Managing Editors, Kelsie Fournier, and Grace Gundling. The Editorial Advisor of SJOT is Eric Robinson, MLIS, Scholarly Communications Librarian at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences.
